Joshua Reynes is a St. Petersburg-based video editor and graphic designer. Centering his expertise in music video production, he has additionally worked as a graphic designer, social media specialist, motion and title designer, sound mixer, production assistant, and shooter/editor.

From a young age, he has shown a love for music, further channeling that musicality into his visual work. In 2018, Josh took Tampa indie-pop group Inkblot to new heights with music videos “Fool’s Gold” and “Emerald” – the prior earning a spot in the All-American High School Film Festival in New York City. A graduate of DePaul University’s School of Cinematic Arts in Chicago, he sharpened his craft through various experimental, documentary, music video, animation, and narrative projects. Sometimes lo-fi, but never low quality – always authentic.

Josh currently heads Content and Creative for Small Talks Magazine, an indie music publication self-started by Emma Hintz and born out of Florida's Gulf Coast music scene, which has expanded with contributing staff worldwide. Here, he’s had the pleasure of shooting acts like Magdalena Bay, creating story graphics, and editing interviews for up-and-coming artists. In 2025, Reynes, alongside Hintz and head writer Jennifer Bodine, launched Small Talks Mag in print. The inaugural edition spotlights We're Sweet Girls, a creative collective that fosters a new ecosystem for women, femmes, and the people who love them – changing the face of the Gulf Coast Scene.
Since 2022, you can find him producing music videos for indie music projects softpower, The Don't Belongs, and r+r – his experimental pop duo that made its formal debut in 2025. Outside of work you can find him DJing downtown, experimenting with film, VHS, and digital cameras, or scouring his local library for the newest Blu-Ray.
