Joshua Reynes is a Tampa Bay-based video editor and content creator. Centering his expertise in video editing, he has additionally worked as a graphic designer, social media specialist, motion and title designer, sound mixer, production assistant, and director of photography.
From a young age, he has shown a love for music, further channeling that musicality into his visual work. In 2018, Josh took Tampa indie-pop group Inkblot to new heights with music videos “Fool’s Gold” and “Emerald” – the prior earning a spot in the All-American High School Film Festival in New York City. A graduate of DePaul University’s School of Cinematic Arts in Chicago, he sharpened his craft through various experimental, documentary, music video, animation, and narrative projects; striking a technically sound, holy balance between the nostalgic and current.
Josh currently heads Graphic Design for indie music blog Small Talks Magazine, where he’s had the pleasure of shooting acts like Magdalena Bay, creating story graphics, and editing interviews for up-and-coming artists. Since 2022, you can find him producing music videos for indie music projects softpower and The Don't Belongs. Outside of work you can find him watching the newest movie, DJing downtown, or experimenting with film and digital cameras.
